Dawn

The curtain of sleep unveils, and the night has passed; dawn proceeds to brighten the sky, but the day that will follow is still a luminous mystery.

“Dawn” chronologically follows “Night,” with which it dialogues in stark contrast: if in the night the veil is complete and covers the sky, here it opens and reveals the sky, but surrounds a young figure covered by a hood, whose eyes are only slightly visible. If the night is certain, unsettling, and fascinating, the dawn that almost marches toward us is solemn and inscrutable.
