New Light

In “New Light,” Daniel Salvi celebrates the ethereal encounter between human interiority and the majesty of nature, inviting us into a moment of ecstatic stillness. The work is a portrait charged with symbolism, where the protagonist, her eyes closed in deep receptivity, transforms into a figure of divine contemplation. The figure emerges from a flowery field, her body draped in a dark, iridescent drapery, almost composed of peacock feathers, which falls to reveal the white body of the goddess. Likewise, the weight of matter and vanity falls away, revealing the essential need for a personal epiphany and a luminous connection with the whole.
